Our story
Diesel Spec was founded in Montreal, Quebec in 1987. From day one, the company focused on a single thing and mastered it completely: ECM tuning, the fine-tuning of the software that manages the diesel engine in heavy-duty trucks. No general mechanics, no repairs: one specialty, taken to the highest level.
Over the years, this expertise has led to more than 100,000 trucks tuned. Now based in La Prairie, on Montreal’s South Shore, Diesel Spec has become Canada’s reference in diesel engine optimization, for owner-operators and fleet managers alike.
The company chose to focus entirely on the Canadian market, with a dealer network covering every province.

Diesel Spec tunes six diesel engine brands: Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit, Mercedes, Paccar and MaxxForce. Every calibration is designed and validated on our own dynamometer, at our La Prairie facility, used exclusively for tuning and performance parts.
