Off-Highway Tuning:
off-highway and competition tuning

Legal disclaimer: The off-highway and competition tuning services described on this page are strictly intended for off-highway / closed-course racing use on vehicles not registered for on-road operation. These modifications may not comply with the regulations in effect in your jurisdiction. It is the customer’s responsibility to comply with applicable local laws.

The direct answer: Off-Highway Tuning is a family of ECM tuning programs reserved for vehicles not registered for on-road use, delivering performance levels impossible in an on-road configuration.

Reserved for off-highway vehicles, this family of tuning programs notably enables the software removal of emissions after-treatment equipment. Combined with the replacement of strategic parts (turbochargers, manifolds, camshafts from the Big Boss® line), these tunes allow engines to easily exceed 1,000 horsepower for competition.

Diesel Spec has offered these services for decades for drag racing, truck pulls, closed-course racing and specialized off-highway applications, across Canada.
